Encountering God in creation and neighbor

Proximity to neighbors. Proximity to strangers. Proximity to creation. Proximity to God. Proximity to love.

Our mission is to create a supportive community for those who seek to follow the ways of Jesus, love incarnate, in caring for God’s created world and its inhabitants.

Personify Faith

Personify Faith is an individual or small group study designed to deepen our faith and then live out that faith in the world for others to see. We journey through eight spiritual formation exercises: Simply, Beautify, Edify, Diversify, Purify, Testify, Mystify, and Glorify. Each week of the study includes a day of preparation with information from the scriptures and historical figures, a day of action with formational activities, and a day of reflection with points to consider from modern writers. Included is exposure to scripture, but also a diverse array of historical figures, theologians, artists, musicians, and current authors.

Life Cycle of an Acorn

This original art and poetry series was created for Providence Baptist Church during the Lenten season in 2021. It follows the life cycle of an acorn as it falls and is resurrected. Themes include covenant, blessing, humility, hope, introspection, obedience, and resurrection.

“Pay attention to the people God puts in your path if you want to discern what God is up to in your life.”
